ZHA moves bulbs into defualt group

I have 3 IKEA TRADFRI bulbs added successfully into ZHA. Created a ZHA group and added all of them to this group. I wanted to bind an ‘on/off’ switch to this group using ZHA but no luck (although in log it says all fine

).

Then I used IKEA binding method (10sec next to a bulb…) and seemed all of them bound… but I found only one of them in my group and other two bulbs in ‘No name’ group… Tried to reconfigure every bulb and they changed their presents in these groups. Start all over again and they appeared in the ‘No name’ group… Stopped with experiments since all works from button and can be managed from this group.
But how to force devices in my group in ZHA? Now I use only one , how will it looks like with more groups? is it ZHA issue?

Same here!

It worked like a charm before and now the behavior seems to be random…

I see a similar thing. I used to be able to bind my Ikea remove to light bulbs via the “Group binding” feature. However eventually, maybe around November, it stopped working. Today I started looking into it, and I cant bind the remotes any more. I see the warning mentioned above, and nothing happens. I haven’t tried the “Ikea way” by holding the button close to the light and clicking the pairing button, but I have many lights in to awkward places I want to bind any way.

I think I found out:

They removed the possibility to bind to groups. Instead you have to bind every device individually now.
This seems to work for me.
