Hi everyone - I was wondering if you could offer any advice as I’m going a bit mad!
I’ve just transitioned over from Conbee2/Deconz to Skyconnect/ZHA and have reconnected all the devices to my HA by manually reseting them on the hardware etc. Everything is working great - all of my Hue lights / Ikea blinds / various others are working fine.
…Except for my smart switches - I’ve got a couple of Philips Hue smart plugs and a few Ikea Tradfri smart plugs, and they’re just not showing up in HomeKit.
In the HomeKit config, I’ve selected that I’ll tick the devices I want to appear, and have ticked the switches. But they are just not showing up. I can tick to add their button. rather than switch. and have that show up - but obviously that’s useless for what I need (but it does confirm it is going through - on the device listing in ZHA I can see button press events).
Similarly, the plugs control absolutely fine in Home Assistant itself. And other non-Zigbee things designated as switches inside HA are working fine too (like my wifi cat feeder).
I’ve figured out a workaround, by creating a virtual boolean linked to automation - but this just seems needlessly complex for something that should work (and did work fine back when I used DeConz).
So if anyone has any ideas what to try or what I’m doing wrong, I’d love to hear it as I’m tearing what’s left of my hair out!
Cheers!
