Zigbee button and how to configure

Hi all,

I have a zigbee 4-way button here. I use deCONZ to integrate this button.
Now I want to switch several lights with this button(s).

  • First button, short click, switch light 1 on/off (toggle)
  • First button, double click, switch light 1 color (rotate)
  • First button, holding button > 1 or 2 sec., dimm light 1 (toggle)
    Button sending "Lichtschalter Küche fired event ‘1002’ " on a click.

Any ideas or suggestions how to build this?

Typically you will need to listen for the events.

First place I would look is the blueprints section, and search the name of your button. Good chance someone already did the work for you.

That was a bit short. I mean you have to listen to the different events that are being sent when you do these other actions like hold or double press. If the don’t send other events, it will be difficult. There are workarounds like always waiting for a second click in a short period but it’s better if the button sends the actual events.
