Zigbee challenged Sonoff S31 lite

So… I don’t have many Zigbee devices anymore as I have converted most everything to Zwave or Wifi. I am running a Conbee II with deConz and bought a Sonoff S31 Lite to act as a repeater for some of the Cree Connected bulbs I still have.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to get the S31 to pair to the Conbee II. I did some brief check (of course after the purchase) and it looks like it isn’t compatible?

So if the above is true, what would I need to utilize the S31 and would whatever that is still connect to my Cree Connected bulbs or are they incompatible hardware (although still Zigbee)?

Well, I think I figured it out but would appreciate confirmation from anyone else.

Seems it did pair but does not show up in the Phoscon screen. I do see it both in deconz and in HA as an on/off plug-in unit.

Is this the normal behavior?

Mine pairs with deconz and shows up in phoscon but not on HA. Did you ever get your issue resolved and do you have any ideas why I’m experiencing mine?

Yes but I think it took a few tries and a restart. I do not recall doing anything other than repeatedly pairing until it finally loaded up.
