Zigbee devices/entities unavailable

Hi,

I have a Conbee II which have been working but not for the essential parts since those are Zwave. However I noticed that these devices have stopped working.

Any idea how get them online again?

As far as I’m aware all you can do is remove them in the phoscon app and then re-add them.

That is bad!
I suspect that it is the integration/binding that fails. Tried to include a new IKEA TRADFRI Outlet and it didn’t find it

The first question is : which Zigbee integration are you using ?

Device info

deCONZ = dresden elektronik deCONZ protocol: ConBee I/II, RaspBee I/II

by ZHA

Zigbee info

IEEE: 00:21:2e:ff:ff:05:b6:d5

Nwk: 0x0000

Device Type: Coordinator

Power Source: Mains

IKEA TRADFRI Outlet needs to be added as light object. I found it easiest to find it by pushing the reset button on the IKEA unit and then search for it.

Looks like you’re using the ZHA integration. So am I. Here are my general troubleshooting steps for misbehaving/missing/unavailable Zigbee devices:

  1. Push reset button on device (if applicable) - momentary press, not hold it to put it in pairing mode
  2. Power cycle the device (remove battery if applicable, or pull power from mains via switch/plug/breaker or unscrew light socket)
  3. Check the battery voltage if battery powered. If low, then replace, regardless of % shown in HA.
  4. Re-pair the device. Some devices it’s “hold the reset button for 5-10sec”; for some devices like lightbulbs, it’s “on/off 5 times in a row”, etc. Then select “ADD DEVICES VIA THIS DEVICE” in the HomeAssistant UI page for the ConBee II or appropriately-close repeater.
  5. Remove the device from Home Assistant ZHA (click REMOVE DEVICE) in the device’s page and then re-pair the device as in the above step.

One of the above steps has always worked for me when I’ve had problems with Zigbee devices.

Thanks for your replies.

So after some trial I ended up with removing the integration and did a reset and paired the devices again.
However I have bought a “Tradfri LED bulb E14 470 lumen, warm dimming, chandelier opal white” but that seems not to be recognized.

Note: I only use Conbee 2 and don’t have IKEA Tradfri Gateway

Did it ever work without IKEA gateway? I bought also bulbs and moving sensors an I think I need this special gateway. I use also Conbee I in a Raspberry.

There is no “pairing button” but I just thought I give it another try.
Putting Conbee II in “adding devices”, putting the lamp close to Conbee.
Did a series of ON - OFF - ON - OFF - ON - OFF - ON (last one at ON) then the lamp started to flash and it popped up
