Zigbee keeps failing

Hi,

I recently replaced my old Homeassistant Gateway (a Dunsan DSGW-210) by a Raspi 5 with an Aeotec Z-Stick 10 Pro ZWave and Zigbee stick. Stability is abymal - I am rebooting the Raspi every night, but the lights still lose connection. The problem always seems to be solved by restarting Zigbee2mqtt - but that’s obviously not very satisfying.

I installed what seems to be the latest firmware on the website (V7.32.2), and I get the message in the log:

[25/11/2025, 18:51:46] zhc:ota: [0x0017880109c6210c | 929003055001] Firmware is newer than latest available firmware.

The other anomaly is that under MQTT, the Zigbee2MQTTBridge appears twice, only one has devices attached. Can I delete the other?

I have not seen anything unusual in the log files. I placed the stick on a 1m USB extension cable to avoid Wifi interference… Any ideas why my system is unstable? Anything else I can do?

Do you have any smart devices like bulbs or something that get physically powered down (mains cut off with a dumb switch, for instance) at night.
If so this will mess your mesh up big time.

Also do you have enough routing nodes in your mesh?
Here’s some reading on setting up a mesh for zigbee.
