ZigBee Map slow to link everything

I’m just curious about this rather than need to ‘fix’ it.

I’ve seen this before when adding a router (plug). Devices that were unreachable become active and soon show up as connected to the plug, but the newly added plug remains stubbornly shown as isolated from the rest of the network.

It’s now over a day (maybe two). Clearly it is part of the network or it wouldn’t be shown as active (as are the devices which have connected to it), but no link to another router or the Dongle is shown.

Can we see a screenshot?

Today it is finally showing as joined up so everything in the network is now connected to something that can be traced back to the Dongle either directly or via links to routers in the network.

So I can’t show you how it was, but imagine two networks. The main one with almost everything connected in one graph, and a second graph with just the new router/plug and a couple of devices connected to that plug, but no link to anything in the main graph.

Graph as in dongle, router plugs and entities with links drawn between them.

Are you sure you weren’t hovering over something? That will give the effect you describe.

Yes. [Ten chars]

Actually here’s a screenshot and I’m sure this was all connected earlier:

I have only one dongle so to appear on the map for this dongle every node must have a path back to it, and so something is missing from this graph: a connection between the router in the small graph and either a router or the hub in the larger graph.

He’s a complete view. It’s actually very difficult to scale the graph on a mobile phone so a “fit to screen” button and less accelerated scaling would be desirable.
