Zigbee Map - Visualize your mesh network

Hello.

First of all, thanks for this amazing custom component, as the resident maps in zigbee2mqtt are awful.

I have a question/issue (you tell me): I have zigbee2mqtt and zigbee2mqtt-proxy installed in the same Ha instance, and if I leave web socket settings in auto, it always defaults to zigbee2mqtt-proxy zigbee network. If I stop the zigbee2mqtt-proxy add-on, it then defaults to zigbee2mqtt zigbee network.

Any way of avoiding this or at least being able to choose which to be used by default (without specifying ws based on IP)?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Not sure exactly why I couldn’t do it before, but I just managed to specify the local Zigbee2MQTT URL manually in the device settings and now it works properly. Thanks anyway.

You can try to manually add the panels and provide the “slug” config. See this previous post:

Released version 2.16.0 with the following changes:

Changed

  • Improve diagnostic messages: device names now render as links that focus the corresponding node on the map

Fixed

  • Fix search inputs rendering on 2026.4.0

Have fun!
