Zigbee problem-hue

So there I go, I do have 3 floor house, using sonoff devices through Zbbridge and philips hue light through bridge of philips. And everything is connected to 3 lan devices of tp link. And turns out some sonoff devices lose connection when philips light are on. I did try Zha automation but can’t connected MiniR4 so… don’t really know what to do. Can someone help me out

Are both hubs using the same ZigBee channel?

No, but the hue bridge is downstairs and some lights are in the upper floor

You most likely need more repeater devices then.

A side note, you do not have to run multiple hubs if you consolidate to one coordinator.

based on what @LiQuid_cOOled said:

I would cross it out and make a simpler approach: put the devices and bridges near each other (same room) temporarily and retry it to see if it is a range-issue or not or what will happen in that constellation.

Really?

From the OP, the Hubs are already near each other. Your advice is creating a setup with more interference.

Ensuring you have a solid mesh is about ensuring you have quality signal strengths between repeater devices and avoiding as much interference as possible.

Connecting directly to a TP Link device without separation could be the source of the issue.

Since this is not a solution and just to find out where the root cause is, it is a purely legit approach imo and a systematic approach to cross out the issue.

There are way too many chains that might be the root cause of failure and needs a “dumbing down” becasue now is just a wild guess, since the whole network (IP) topology is purely unclear and i have seen so many wild approaches to connect lan-devices through 10 D-Lan repeaters or faulty cables etc etc.

for example:

this might mean that these tp-link devices are connected to repeaters, mesh or whatever - way too many causes of failure.

A systematic approach would not advise having both bridges active in the same room.

  1. Disable the hub controlling the HUE devices and see if the connectivity issues remain with the Sonoff devices.
  2. Then repeat that step with the other hub.

Advising to start with both hubs doesn’t simplify the process enough to identify the issue’s source.

Signals struggle to travel up. Creating a separate ZigBee network for each floor is an option if you lack repeaters.

I’ll try those options and see how it goes. Appreciated for the response
