Zigbee RGB-CCT LED controller that can light up RGB with White?

Anyone know of a RGBCCT Zigbee controller, from any manufacturer, where we can control both RGB and CCT at the same time to maximize the brightness when wanting ‘white’ color?

I have the Gledpoto GL-C-201P and Z2M is not exposing the WW (CCT) as separate values and I’m not seeing a way to ‘turn on’ the whites when RGB is on.

It looks like the Sunricher SR-ZG1029-5C (aka Iluminize 511.000) might do it but I cant find any to purchase in the USA.

thx for the help!

I had the same problem recently with a Shelly RGBWW Pro.
Switched to a BTF Zigbee Controller, Tuya Chip full Z2M support.
You just need a proper 24VDC power supply.

After much research, buying multiple controllers, testing and talking to the firmware dev at GLEDPOTO, the newer RGBWW (aka RGBCCT) controllers that are labeled ‘Mix’ have the full functionality of RGB with separate control of the Whites (aka CCT or WW).

I got a custom firmware for the GL-C-201P which does this and have been using 10 of them for a month now.

A side effect is that you ‘must’ have the ability to explicitly enter (change) Both…

  1. Color values (XY, RGB, or HS)
    and
  2. White color temperature (MIRED)
… at-the-same-time to get the color you expect.

Of course, this does not matter if the RGB color you want does not use White chips (they are off); only using RGB chips.

Since you -must- control both for some colors, the HA function (card, automation, etc) must allow set both at the same time.

For example, @WJD awesome ‘Ultra Card’ will set either but not both at the same time. So if you set RGB and do not change/set the MIRED, you may not get the exact color you want if there is a MIRED value needed for that color.
*I put in a feature request for it and expect it will get fixed soon

Thank you for your update! I am facing the exact same problem as you - trying to control RGBWW/CW with one GL-C-201P such that I can separately control WW/CW path and RGB path.

It seems that you solved the problem successfully by flashing custom firmware on these GL-C-201P? Is it still working properly for you? Could you please share the firmware that worked for you?

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
