Zigbee roller shutter module with rocker switches

Hi,
I have a few electric roller shutters which I would like to automate using these or similar zigbee modules. I just have one question: In my current setup, I have rocker type switches for up and down where they block each other so you can only press one direction or keep both open. They look similar to this:

What would happen if someone manually closes the shutter using this switch and forgets to open the switch again, so it stays in the down position? Then someone else or an automation triggers “open shutter” via zigbee. What would happen? Stay closed, open or both open+close which could harm the motor?

I doubt that on the photo is toggle switch, more likely momentary.
What happens on the relay module depends on the specific device. Usually there is hardware or software interlocking to prevent problems.

Well, at least I have toggle switches
Do you have experience with one of these devices or can recommend one?

No I don’t and I never will.
I would not connect any “tuya” device to my house wiring.
Shelly 2PM Gen4 would probably be my choice. Sonoff MINI-ZBRBS if I’m on budget…

Thanks for the suggestions. What’s the issue with the tuya devices?
Do you know how the Shelly or Sonoff devices you mentioned would behave in my above scenario?

Several. Biggest issue is that you likely can’t trace even the manufacturer or any certificates. Try if you are curious.

Likely well, they are both documented for that use case.

hmm, okay. I thought, at least these MOES for example are alright, as they are also widespread on amazon and generally get good reviews. I’ll keep it in mind!

When I asked how they behave I actually meant what they do  I’m gonna send their support a message and ask

Might be, also reputable manufacturers or distributors can use tuya ecosystem. No problem in that case.

They both switch roller motors up to X amps with interlock feature.

Of course. But what would happen if the “down” switch is physically closed and the relay receives an “up” command from zigbee?

Depends on the relay you have and the settings you apply. It’s obvious that ANY smart relay with SW input will have this situation.
