Zigbee2MQTT issue after Philips Outdoor sensor firmware update

Yesterday a new firmware update for Philips outdoor motion sensors was released (I have SML004, and the new firmware is 33576193). After I updated all 5 sensors that I have, a problem appeared: Long red flash when detecting motion, which according to Philips documentation means: “Sensor cannot communicate with the Bridge”. However, all the sensors communicate with HA via Z2M and the automations work correctly. I connected a sensor to a Philips Hue bridge for testing and the problem disappears - there it communicates correctly - The problem is only on Z2M. I think there is some incompatibility between Z2M and the new firmware from Philips SML004. Before firmware upgrade, there was no such problem. Please advise what to do, because these long red lights consume batteries enormously. thanks in advance

I hit the REPORT PROBLEM (from the ABOUT tab for the device) for one of my outdoor motion sensors after confirming I also saw the same.

It brought me to Github to file a report - but first I hit the link to see if the issue was already reported, and it was:

https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt/issues

I was able to do an OTA downgrade though the Windfront frontend, on one of the SML004 sensors (this also affects SML002 indoor motion sensors). I’m waiting a bit to see how much it affects the battery drain, and/or how long an update takes, before downgrading the others.
