hello fellow HA community. i am after some assistance, i have been trying to get zigbee2mqtt setup on my home assistant. i am using the GW03 zigbee2mqtt bridge but i get as far as the onboarding page and cannot get through that even after filling out the necessary fields, it just keeps saying i cannot reach my bridge. Am i doing something silly?
Welcome to the forums. Please have a read through the pinned post and provide more info so we can help you.
By “GW03 zigbee2mqtt bridge” I’m assuming you’re referring to the ZB-GW03 (like this one). Please note that that bridge is not on the officially supported adapters page in Z2M. However, it might still be possible to get it set up.
If you bought the version which comes pre-flashed with Tasmota, then all you’d need to do is find what IP & port the bridge is using from the Tasmota console.
If you bought the unflashed version with ewelink software, there’s a guide here on how to flash it manually, but that’s from 2020 & I’m not sure whatever’s written there is still possible. Note that even that page is so outdated that it still lists the deprecated adapter: ezsp in the config instead of the newer adapter: ember.
My personal suggestion is to send the device back if you’re still in time and get a coordinator from the supported adapters list, ideally something from the hybrid or network sections.
