I have a timeout in Z2MQTT for 10 minutes to check for availability:

This device has not been checked for 22 minutes and I know it has been disconnected so it should read as unavailable, but its still reading its state as On, which is breaking my automation based on the assumption that the availability time out works.

Is there some other setting I’m missing?

Fairly sure that this device is an end device, not a router.

So that timeout seeing only works for routers?

Is there a way to set a timeout for end devices?

Is the timeout setting for the passive devices in this instance 1500s?
