Zigbee2MQTT won't load, but no error message is shown

Hi all,

I recently received my Sonoff Zigbee dongle and tried installing it in Home assistant, but no luck so far.

I’m using a Supervised installation of Home Assistant on a Synology NAS virtual machine and I gave the VM access to the zigbee stick. Configured it all in Home Assistant, but nothing is happening when starting the Zigbee2MQTT add-on.

Zigbee2MQTT:info 2022-12-02 17:10:41: Starting zigbee-herdsman (0.14.76)

I’m seeing a lot of people having errors when the addon is trying to start zigbee-herdsman, but it looks like my addon is not proceeding for some reason.

Any recommendations to solve this?

Thanks in advance!
Peter

Hi there!
I’m having exactly the same problem
Hope someone can offer some help.

Hey, any updates here? Having the exact same issue… :frowning:

I opened an issue at the github repo

@Peterf92 could you please enable zigbee-herdsman debugging?

Here’s how you do it:

You do that by editing the config yaml of the add on.
Just go to Settings > Add Ons > Zigbee2MQTT > Configuration
Click on the three dots un the upper right corner and click on “Edit as Yaml”
