I am using my Logitec Harmony Ultimate to control my Panasonic TV and Ziggo Next (with coax cable), but could not use it for my Philips TV and Ziggo Next Mini (with ethernet cable), because the Mini uses RF signals instead of IR signals. So I ordered the new Unfolded Circle Remote 3 and the Home Assistant Green. Installed in Home Assistant your integration LG Horizon and also installed on the Remote 3 the Home Assistant integration including your LG Horizon. Now I can do some basic operations of the Ziggo Next Mini out of Home Assistant and Remote 3, but I want to use all the possible buttons, showed in your picture.
the first page is a mediaplayer widget of what is playing on the Ziggo Next Mini, with a button to the second page.
the second page is a scrollable list of buttons of all tv channels.
So, I see what is playing and I can select another tv channel, but I cannot operate the Ziggo Next Mini with the buttons.
What I am missing is a screen with the possible buttons.
How can I in Home Assistant make a mapping of all possible buttons and include them in the inegration, so that I get an extra page or more pages in theh Remote 3, where I can press these buttons or map them to the physic buttons on the Remote 3?
Could you help me how to setup this in Home Assistant, because I do not understand how to implement what you describe under Custom Services?
Interesting question. I also ordered the Unfolded Circle Remote 3 (need to wait till Q4-2025 to get this remote). The Ziggo Next Mini (called the Telenet IP-BOX in Belgium). If you could create a button on the touch screen remote that activate the other Ziggo functions with LG Horizon HA, would be great.
I am using your integration for my Ziggo Next Mini mediaplayer.
But I cannot switch on the Ziggo Next Mini mediaplayer, when it is switched off for a long time. To activate it I need the original remote to switch it on.
Once the Ziggo Next Mini mediaplayer is switch on with the original remote, I can switch it off and on again with your integration.
So, when the Ziggo Next Mini mediaplayer is in standby mode I can switch it on with your integration, but when it is in sleep mode I cannot switch it on with your integration and I need the original remote to press the Power button.
Does I do something wrong or could you solve this in your inegration or is this not possible?
I have noticed that the standby time has only effect on the Quick modus. In Eco modus the Ziggo Next Mini stays 15 minutes in standby (blue light) and then automatically switch off (light off).
The integration command Switch On doesnot work when the Ziggo Next Mini is switched off (no light), it only works when the Ziggo Next Mini is in standby (blue light).
When the Ziggo Next Mini is switched off (no light) only the physic Power button of the Ziggo Next Mini remote can awake it (orange light) and after start-up (white light).
So, the physic Power button on the Ziggo remote can awake the mediaplayer from switched off & standby modes, but the integration command Switch On can currently only awake it from standby mode, but not from switched off mode.
