Anyone know why the Zooz ZEN14 and ZEN15 are not listed as certified devices at Certified Devices, even though the ZEN04 and ZEN05 are? Is there actually something functionally worse? It appears all four have the 800 series chipset now.
ZEN78 is also missing, although I believe that’s still in beta / not fully released yet, so that one I’m not as surprised about.
I’ve had a ZEN15 for years, and more recently added two ZEN14’s using LR, and all work great with full integration and no issues. Lack of certification definitely doesn’t mean it doesn’t work.
It’s a marketing label in this case(zwave).
Or really a show of support.
All zwave devices are supported equally and local especially in case of zooz zwave devices
My guess… The circuit and components are nearly identical, and they didn’t want to pass the tens of thousands of dollars along to customers to get the sticker that a majority of the customers ignore.
Everything I’m seeing is it’s just $500 per company, not tens of thousands per device. I also found this Zooz joins Works with Home Assistant chi
