ZOOZ ZEN15 with Toyota charging cable 120V, type 1

Hello,

I would like to monitor the consumption and manage the 120V, Type 1 Toyota charging cable for my 2025 RAV4 PHEV.

I reviewed the technical specifications of the ZOOZ ZEN15. It appears to be compatible with the charger.

Based on your experience, does this equipment meet your expectations, particularly for monitoring power consumption for a charging unit that requires 12A, 120V?

I have a Zen15 on a 120V hot tub. It wasn’t clear if it would handle the hot tub and the startup current, but seems to do ok so far.

Probably worth writing Zooz and providing details on your charger.

Also, these meters can put out a lot of z-wave traffic, so you would want to monitor that – and probably adjust the device’s parameters to only report what you need.
