o.k using the Virtual Machine of HA using proxmox , the usb port is found by HA hardware section , my controller is a AEON Lab - Z-Stick S2 USB Controller - FW: v3.7 SDK: v5.2.3.
I’ve tried everything to try to use the zwa-2 as the main controller and remove the old stick but looks for it .
I’ve similar issues using also a proxmox configuration with a HA vm:
- in HA hardware list in the usb section ZWA-2 is recognised
- no ZWA-2 discovery yet in devices…
I found what my problem was , I was using zwave js ui , which wasn’t playing nice with zwave js the set up looks to install , so after uninstalling zwave js ui I could see the hardware looked to be working in device manager.
I tried for nearly a hour to get my fgms01 to include , had to download the manual which said press the button 3 times to include or exclude and hold the button red is range test and yellow reset .
reset the device and 3 press … yes I’ve found a device , so a hour for the first one and one minute for the rest .
Where did you find a manual for the ZWA-2? All I can find is the ‘quick start guide.’
