ZWA-2 Repeater Firmware - Region verification failed. Expected "US" but got "unknown"

I am trying to flash the ZWA-2 with the z-wave repeater firmware and am getting this error when I select USA for the Configure RF Region step:

Region verification failed. Expected "US" but got "unknown".

Is there a place I can put in an “official” bug report or something?

I’m not sure if the following is the correct place or not, but it would be a start:

Thank you.

I hope someone from Nabu Casa sees this because I bought 6 of these ZWA-2 with the need to turn them into repeaters and right now they’re just paperweights.

Posted the issue on Github.

I tried again, and initially installed the bridge firmware, then tried the repeater firmware again and got this error:

Tried to use the “Recover adapter” tool to see what would happen and got this:

I was able to install the Original USB bridge firmware, but trying to Configure the ZWA-2 shows this error:

I successfully used the Restore Bootloader Keys and flash it to the default USB firmware, but it’s back in the same state as before, where I cannot flash it with the repeater firmware.

I am getting the same “failed to enter bootloader mode” error.

Trying to use the Recover adapter tool shows this error:

Can't find your ZWA-2?
Make sure it is running the default USB bridge firmware on the ESP. Otherwise the ZWA-2 toolbox cannot communicate with the Z-Wave chip.

Although it does show up on on the COM list:

Still cannot flash the repeater firmware, even after fixing bootloader keys and successfully installing the controller firmware.

Might be time to raise a support ticket https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Woah I didn’t know that was available. Thanks!

Adding another post here. Now it won’t even recognize the standard USB bridge firmware:
