Has anyone implemented this successfully? I am interested in WIFI devices. I have been using ZWAVE for years on Vera and recently moved to HA Green. I love Z-wave but it would be nice to have the flexibility of wifi.
As I understand this, it is only the connection between HA and the ZWA-2 that is done by wifi, not any other devices. It gives you the flexibility of placing the ZWA-2 somewhere you don’t have ethernet. I am unsure if this is what you are asking, but since you mention “wifi devices”.

My advice: stay behind your today’s love. She showed you her reliability, so do not cheat on her. Only go wifi, if you can’t find a zwave device for your purpose.
But, that’s only my personal advice, not an invite for a pro/con discussion.
