Yesterday up to 50 of my 66 Zwave devices stopped working. Re-interviewing or update routes did not work (immediately). Most of the devices indicated that they were being re-interviewed but apparently because the number of devices no improvement showed.
I remembered that this happened many months ago and it seems that one switch causes the problem. I resolved it then by removing that device from the wall and installing it again.
This time, this morning, I cut the power to the room where the device is, and voila slowly all the devices were restored. I have no idea why that specific switch (Zooz Zen 71) but everything works again.
I am not sure about this. While ZWave JS appears in my Sidebar, it does NOT appear in my Add-Ons. Only ZWave JS UI shows in my add-ons. Furthermore in the configuration of the ZWave Integration it appears that I am using ZWave JS UI. So the question (and my mystery) is why it shows ZWave JS in the Sidebar ?
Thanks. As I posted just now, the ZWave configuration shows that I am using ZWvae JS UI, but I wonder why it shows ZWave JS in the Sidebar and a very similar but different page opens when clicking on ZWave JS in the Sidebar and the info is:
Hi,
Sometimes zwave devices go bad and can mess up the whole mesh. It looks like you found the culprit and I would replace it. IMO that is more likely the issue than something wrong on the zwave controller as that still talks to all your other devices.
Cheers Rene
