Just installed z-Wave JS UI and the light icons in the dashboards are not refreshing with I manually toggle a light switch in the panel. The panel has zWave+ and firmware version 6.1. CurrentValue under Binary Switch V1 are updating instantly.
Any ideas?
Does it show the state changes of the light?
Dies it never change or just slow to update?
If you manually toggle switch and ZUI does not show change I would believe you have network issues.
What happens if you make change in software?
If I change the physical device no change is reflected in HA daskboard (the entity does not reflect the change) the in the z-WAVE JS UI I can see the Binary Switch V1 reflecting the correct action.
It might help more if you said which device this is. Bonus points for posting the Device diagnostic file (which you can download from the device page).
A “light switch” in HA (light entity) would correspond to Multilevel Switch CC, not Binary Switch CC. A toggle switch (switch entity) would correspond to Binary Switch CC.
Got it!!! Newbie error… I also replaced the z-Wave dongle for a FW:6.1 which has z-Wave+
I might be mistaken but the z-Wave implementation of my FlexAutomation panels seems to be drifting a bit from the official specification.
