I did the manual integration with google home and it seems to be working fine in general. I was able to add 2 zigbee lightbulbs and I can control them prefectly from google home. My problem is with my Schlage Zwave Lock. I setup a pin like the guide says. I exposed the lock in the configuration yaml and I can see the lock in Google Home but I can’t do anything besides seeing the config. The lock has a cogwheel on it but no actions I can trigger.
Any idea what I could be missing?
I experience similar behaviour when trying to open my garage door. The pin you setup needs to be entered before the lock will operate. I’ve found the only way to open the door is to use Google Assistant (Voice) and issue an “Open Garage Door” command. Once I do, Google Assistant asks for the pin. It will open the door once the correct pin is given.
No idea why tapping on the button doesn’t work!
Wow you’re right. I can unlock it using the voice command. I tried it yesterday but maybe I had the wrong command. Still, it would be nice to have the button action too.
