I am a total grass roots, home grown, DIY, home automation enthusiast. I love to make my home do things I want it to do to make my life easier.

I got into the game with Indigo Domo a number of years ago and built out my first entirely smart house. Boy that place was cool. When I sold the new owner was very enthusiastic, but alas, after a year he gave up.

When I purchased my current home in Texas I made a choice to not rush back into the game. I had a lot of separated systems and hubs to do things. When I stumbled across Home Assistant and researched it, I was sold and bought an HA Green.

This is a fun adventure and far more simple than previous times I have automated. I can not wait to see what I get to happen next.
