Tuya option is deprecated after update

I have those settings in config

tuya:
username: YOUR_TUYA_USERNAME
password: YOUR_TUYA_PASSWORD
country_code: YOUR_ACCOUNT_COUNTRYCODE

After update HomeAsistant i start see message in log

The ‘tuya’ option is deprecated, please remove it from your configuration

What does it mean? I have tuya devices I can control them from homeassistant and they still work fine. How it can work if I remove that from configuration.yaml ?

It is moved to a GUI integration, now you can see them here :

Yes, but where is it reading the username and password from? If we remove from the configuration, will it continue to work?

If you upgraded, it read the username and password from configuration.yaml and stored it in .storage. If you create a new tuya integration, it asks during integration setup.

Hi, I’ve been trying to set this up all day, I had originally picked the Smart Life app so had to reset everything into Huya.

I had included it from configuration.yaml, then saw this, so added it through the GUI.

No luck, just says success and then I get no devices.

Am I doing something stupid here? ok, I mean more stupid than normal…

I’m tempted to just delete everything and start again, but if anyone knows of any gotchas with this, “Oh you did it on a Thursday, no it only works on Wednesdays”…kind of thing any help would be appreciated.

Especially as I just set up a load of devices into Tuya App!
