2024.10 Can't connect or start ha in safe mode

After updating, HA crashed. I can’t connect to the GUI or SSH. No connection at all.

I’m trying to run HA in safe mode using this command: ha core restart --safe-mode

but then I’m getting an error: Error: no Home Assistant core response, assuming a fatal startup error.

I have backups on a NAS (2.5 GB each), but I’m not sure if everything will be restored (every integration, Zigbee network, etc.). I don’t think I’m running Alexa.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hello thunem,

AMP is likely getting you…

That can be right, but I can’t connect or start the HA in safe mode… so I’m not able to downgrade without having to do a fresh install and restore it from a backup…

Plug a keyboard and monitor into your hardware and run

ha core restart --safe-mode

I’ve tried, any other way to safe mode`?

I’m not sure you’re doing it correctly then. Reboot the system and when the CLI appears, immediately run that command.

doesn’t work … hope the backup works :frowning:
