A New UI Design

Hi there,

Now that Google launched the new Home app UI, we need to update the Home assistant app UI.
It looks so outdated, like, all the elements are from the Material Design v1: Hamburger Icon Menu, Sidebar Menu, 1 column view and much more!
The app needs a new look and feel, material you (v3) implementation, a new bottom navigation bar, new colors, a 2 column tablet/desktop view…
All the Smart Home App UI are usually pretty and very good looking. I know that Home Assistant is made for and by a bunch of geeks and techies, and i love it, but it’s very difficult to catch new users outside out world if the UI is a little bit old. And i know too it’s a hard work from inside.

I’m talking about the home assistant app itself. All the buttons, switches, checkboxes… the overall UI made by the HA team. People can create beautiful cards but we can not change a lot of things from the main structure.
