Add-on store failing

Hi there,

had to reinstall Home Assistant from zero and after quite a lot of attempts (installation was failing for no apparent reason) I made it but I cannot install any add-on since this is failing (no add-on displayed).

I just came to report the same problem. On a fresh install of Homeassistant in a RPi 3, flashing an SD card with balenaEtcher and following step by step the setup process, I can’t get the addon store to work, and my log is very similar. It complains about every repository.json of every addon.

I’ve had it once before. Fixed it by copying addons/core over from another HA instance. But not everyone has more than one HA running.

I have a brand (spankin’) new Home Assistant install (HassOS 4.13)–image created with Balena–then put into my R Pi 4 B. I have the same issue with trying to access the Add-Ons. Supervisor screen spins, then when I look at the log I get the same errors shown above in others’ posts. Is there a fix for this yet?

I found the newest HACS file–according to the install link above–here:

But this is where my lack of understanding (yup, I’m a newbie) fails me.
I tried to follow the install steps

  • I unzipped the file to the get [HACS] subdirectory

  • Step 3 is where I hit a wall. I powered down HA, then put the micro SD into a USB dongle to look at the subdirectories on my Win10 laptop. I cannot find any subdirectory with a [configurations.yaml] file. This is where I stopped. Any thoughts out there about what I’m missing?
