Is there a possibility to add the outside temperature to Gas use chart in the Energy section?

I can’t come up with a good way. Ideally you would want the temperature for every hour. In theory you could make a template that turns the temperature into a separate gas source that cost 0.0 per unit. People are doing interesting hacks with the gas.
How can I create such a template?
