Could you please send me via PM the information (API_KEY, SECRET_KEY, APP_VERSION and USER_PREFIX) for my Vaillant vSMART?
I have decompiled the apk but I am lost in all the files. I may have figured out the API_KEY in the AndroidManifest.xml but for the rest I am lost.

I am using hass.io I installed the smb addon and copied to the custom_components\vaillant
folder i found in th addons folder the files (from pjmaenh github:

__init__.py
climate.py
const.py

i put this into my configuration.yaml
vaillant:
api_key: na_client_android_vaillant
secret_key: 92…f0
username:
password: xxxxx
discovery: False
app_version: 1.0.4.0
user_prefix: vaillant

climate:

  • platform: vaillant

when i restart hass.io i get the following error:

Setup failed for vaillant: Integration not found.

10:08 PM setup.py (ERROR)

Platform error: climate - Integration 'vaillant' not found.

10:08 PM config.py (ERROR)

any idea what i am doing wrong?

Maybe a typo with the folder name? Should be vaillant, not valliant.

nope, no typo there.

Custom components should go to config dir… So in your case:

\\192.168.178.211\config\custom_components\vaillant

I’ve been looking for the api key for ages - but you can find a few online services to download or decompile to get your info.
