Glad to hear you got it sorted.
Port mirroring is definitely the easiest method of collection but not everyone has capable networking hardware that allows for it.
Out of interest, what was not clear about the instructions in Github. Keen to update to make it easier for people to use.
Click around to find play store (I can’t remember exactly where I found it but it’s there somewhere. I will do it properly tomorrow and document in github).
Once signed in to google play store, download “myplaceiq”.
Click the cog (settings) at the top of the nox player window and go to the “device” tab. Check the “Enable network bridge mode” checkbox. You may need to install a driver. Leave all settings as is once enabled.
Restart nox player.
Open nox player, open myplaceiq and it should be able to find your hub.
Follow the rest of the instructions in the github to download and start wireshark and filter appropriately.
Let me know how you go and if it works, i’ll update the readme with better instructions for windows users.
Note: I couldn’t get Bluestacks or Mumu to work on Windows. Unsure why but probably due to architecture/app conflicts.
You are a wizard! Your instructions worked perfectly for me.
Controls and functionality are all working great. The only thing I cannot do is set the zone airflow percentage but all I really need to use is the zone toggle switch.
Cheers for your help and work on this integration. Owe you a brew.
