yes i heard that aeotec motion are slow, problematic.

I have the P1 and P2 and with a few learning curves with the sensor range and timeout settings they both work pretty well. The P2 is now smaller than the P1 but they both work very well. I am fairly new to the Aqara market but so far so good. They have been up and running in my home for the last 3 months.
Now the one thing I don’t like is the battery. Changing it or just simply getting to it is a pain.
