Voice automation is such that perhaps the only thing that Amazon devices have over Home Assistant voice devices is the capability to set timers and alarms verbally that will notify via voice when they are complete. This and verbally adding to a shopping list are the two biggest uses in my home, and the homes of others. Ideally an integration that does all the heavy lifting during the install for setup
I would think that ‘intents’ could do that. They are creat-able by the user. Maybe look into those to see if you can figure something out.

It looks like adding to a shopping list intent_script is there for english. I don’t see a timer one but this is opensource, please feel free to contribute.
