I’ve just grabbed one of these, on its way from gearbest. would be keen to at least get lock/unlock status from the device. did you have any luck @ColonelFlagg getting any hassio integration?
How do you find the lock in general? It certainly looks very good for the price!
The lock has been very solid. The fingerprint reader is a bit flakey though. Sometimes it works first go, other times it will not work at all and i have to enter the code.
I can get the Tuya app to connect and get notifications if it is unlocked but no hassio integration
I’ve bought a couple of these locks (Pineworld branded, but same hardware). Have you managed to integrate with HA?
I was trying to use it with IFTTT (Smart Life connection), I can log on, select my Tuya account but no device is shown when trying to create the automation. That would be a nice way to integrate (although not local) if the lock is unlocked for automation triggering.
Also, do you know if it possible to remove a single user fingerprint/code/tag? This is a major downside for me if you cannot delete a single user and have to delete all of them…
I have implemented receiving events from this smart lock, as well as the ability to open on demand (4 + #) without an app on the phone. But not in HA, but in a self-written implementation of a smart home in NodeJS. I’m worried that tuya will update the firmware if I publish the implementation and my method stops working.
Hey there! I’m curious if you got your smart lock working with Home Assistant. I have the Tuya Local integration too, but I couldn’t figure out how to add my Pineworld E202 smart lock manually. Do you have any tips or tricks for me? Thanks a lot!
Hi, since the original link is dead.
Was it a bluetooth lock that requires tuya bt hub or wifi lock? @vvvait since your last post, is your method still working?
