Amcrest ASH22-W camera no luck

Trying for a week, nothing. Anybody got the Amcrest ASH22-W to work?
First attempt at cameras, very frustrating.
Tried just adding to configuration.yaml:
…
amcrest:

  • host: 192.168.5.55
    username: admin
    password: password
    name: Cam 1 Amcrest
    stream_source: rtsp

Example configuration.yaml entry

binary_sensors:
  - motion_detected
  - crossline_detected
  - online
sensors:
  - sdcard

…

nothing happens
Tried HACS Dahua
says wrong login, password or IP all is working through Amcrest app

Any pointers appreciated

Somebody mentions got working through “frigate” what is that?

I think frigate addon has logs…check for that. Sorry i not use addons so not great at troubleshooting them

You can try http://ccab4aaf-frigate-fa:5000/
There and extra “fa” in there. I believe what you currently have is correct but some version was using that.

Not much to frigate so if you cannot connect its usually not started/running or web address

OK, helpful logs to create search for frigate (probably not running) got me this thread

I have the same camera and the same issues. Did you get it working?
