I make it works on Argon v3 when added this. I found this address in sources from argon. For me now it works.
If you can fork the code, copy the relevant directory and make modifications to signify V3, I can support it. Preferably the linear one.
Hi,
I’m a newbie, but I would like to know if you going to add the v3 in your add on. Really looking forward for that.
Hi,
It is really working no issues? Where and how I change this address?
Pls keep in mind that I’m a newbie, so need a step by step.
@adamoutler thanks a lot. It works.
@machadojon you can find addon for the v3 near others, now it awailable and works
Works for me now. Did a complete reinstall. Was using an OS image from raspi-debian.org. Very bare bones and too much setup work for a novice. Started over with the light Debian Bookworm image built into the official Imager tool. Found this guide (in Russian but browser translate turns it into readable English.

Installed the addon from the addon store and all went well.

Since I updated hassos 2 days ago, my fan was always running. I went to see the addon and found this log. Anybody know what is the problem?

Hi @adamoutler,
It is working on the V3!
Do you know if you could make the IR work as a universal Infrared and the m2 nvme with the same type of configuration?

Hello together,
I have a Argon One M.2 case. Since some days my fan is running all day at a temperature around 41°C. My configured LowRange temperature is 50°C. One strange thing, the argon fan speed entity is always 0%.

Looks like i2c is disconnected. You have the ports but there is no device on the lines.
I don’t know what exactly caused it. But after disassembling the Argon case and putting it back together everything works fine.
But no plugs/connectors were loose either.
Thanks anyway.
It could not find i2c port. You must enable i2c port for this to work.
It is working, thanks
I have an interesting use case: my M.2 drive seems to have died and for now (while I await a replacement) I have booted HA using an SD card instead, restoring my last backup. My system is still in the Argon case but there is no SSD installed at the moment.
My fan is going 100% and I want to change its settings. I went into the I2C app but see this as the log:
ls: /dev/i2c-1: No such file or directory
I don't see I2C.
no sda1 available
no sdb1 available
adding dtparam=i2c_vc=on to mmcblk0p1 config.txt
adding dtparam=i2c_arm=on to mmcblk0p1 config.txt
no nvme0n1p1 available
This Configurator did it's job. Perform a hard-power-off reboot now.
You will need to reboot twice total, once to place the files, and again to activate the I2C.
Not quite sure what I should do to fix this. I have done a couple of cold boots with no change to these logs. Is the I2C setting dependent on the M.2 SSD being present?

can any help
Hi,
I just installed a new system with an argonone, but my fan is running at full speed all time.
I have installed “ArgonOne Active Linear Cooling”, but is has no effect.
I suppose, that it is because I havent enabled I2C.
In the documentation ([add-on] HassOS I2C Configurator) it says, I have to add a repository (GitHub - adamoutler/HassOSConfigurator: A set of Add-Ons to configure HassOS For various platforms and development purposes.).
I did that, but in the addon store, this repo is empty:
ESPHome: ESPHome Addon
HassOS Configurator: - (empty)
Home Assistant Community Add-ons: AdGuards Home. Advanced SSH & Web Terminal …
How can I install “HassOS I2C Configurator”?
Sounds like you need to use the v3 addon.
