Automation multiple triggers

Many thanks Tom, that nailed it

I guess itā€™s up to me turn up the flames just a little bitā€¦

How much do you want to bet thatā€™s not true?

Look at the syntax of your trigger section in the first post.

Now look at the syntax of the trigger section from the link.

Hopefully you can see where they arenā€™t the same.

Now look at the syntax of the trigger section that tom posted that you said was the solution.

Hopefully you can see where tomā€™s solution and the link are the same syntax.

I think Iā€™d win that bet.

The funny thing is that we know what we are doing and you are the one asking for help.

What would be the benefit to us for us to ask you to post irrelevant information?

Did you know that sometimes the config checker may give you erroneous line numbers because sometimes it doesnā€™t count comments or other whitespace lines. But I bet that the error message might have told us information that might have given us a clue to tell you where to look to find the issue.

Thatā€™s the reason why people ask the person asking for help to post the code and error messages even if they donā€™t seem relevant to one who is asking for help.

So, for future reference, if someone asks you to post the code and/or error messages try to not immediately get an attitude and show a little gratitude to the person for taking their time to come on here and try to help you. just because you donā€™t think it matters doesnā€™t mean it doesnā€™t matter.

There was only one person in this thread that was being obstructiveā€¦
