There’s lots of details we’d need to work out what is going on, but basically:
Assuming:
- Recent Android OS version (Google Pixel version)
- Current HA Android App
- Background app and other settings as the documentation
- Backgound updating is the same for GPSr location as battery level
- (Samsung Android is more aggressive than Google Pixels at killing background app activity in the name of battery saving)
Please can anyone share some tips where to start looking to diagnose and hopefully change this.
