I would love to be able to group my automations into folders so I can easily find automations that have a secondary automation that it works with.
That is a wish of many of us and has been mentioned numerous times.
For the time being I have given my automation numbers by group or room… My audio automations are 11-1, 11-2, 11-3 etc; the guest room automations are 12–1, 12-2, 12-3 etc. This helps but folders would be a great solution.
Folders are just a way of organising.
You can achieve the same by just using a formatted name.
/Bedroom/thermostat/schedule or
bedroom_thermostat_schedule
No need to use resources on something that can already be done.
I appreciate your suggested solution (which is similar as my own), but some of us would prefer folders.
