IMO, the only way to accurately and consistently monitor the power state of XBOX One is to use a photodiode (light sensor) on the power button.
Using the XBOX integration is slow and generally inconsistent. Monitoring the power draw (with any device/meter) is problematic because of the way the XBOX consumers power when it’s sleeping or updating.
Monitoring the LED on the power button is 100% reliable. I use a simple/cheap photodiode along with a Shelly Uni which can read the diode with its ADC input.
