Hi @BertrumUK, hope all is well.
As promised, please find attached pic’s of my junction box, thermostat, programmer and general set-up.
Any further advice would be appreciated.
Thanks again.

Just home from work. Let me take a look tomorrow.
Just looked at your pics and it looks pretty straightforward -
Live to live,
Neutral to Neutral
DHW on 3 on your controller to 6 on the Nest
HTG on 4 on your controller 3 on the Nest
You will need to run a live from the Live to 2 & 5 on the heatlink so that there is a switched live to either the HW or Heating.
Cannot see where your thermostat goes into the junction strip but the 2 wires need to be removed and then a jumper connected where the wires were removed. (probably 4&5 for an S plan)
The old wires from the thermostat then go to T1&T2 on the heatlink with the nest plate connected where the thermostat was.
Disclaimer
***** As always this is done at your own risk and please take plenty of
pictures before you remove wires and label each wire as they are removed
so you can put it all back if it doesn’t work. Also remember that you
are working on 230V so make sure the power is off and use a mains tester
screwdriver to ensure that there is no power on any wire before you
remove it *****
@BertrumUK I can’t thank you enough. I’ll be making the changes today or tomorrow and will let you know.
One thing I may do is leave the old thermostat in place and place the Nest Thermostat elsewhere as there is a chance we may move in a year. Therefore, best to leave some of the old spec in place.
If I do that, I will take the old stat off the wall and complete the circuit there rather than changing anything in the junction box. Re, I’ll put a jumper between the brown and grey wire so that the circuit is complete in the stat. What do you think?
Thanks once again!
Adam,
Yes that sounds ok RE: looping the wire in the thermostat. Easier way would be to leave it in place and turn it fully up so that it should never switch off. If you move you would only need to put the controller wires back.
Good luck.
Neil.
@BertrumUK Just wanted to send a message to say all installed and working perfectly. Thank you so much for all of your assitance, couldn’t have done it without you!!
Brilliant news Adam. Glad it all went well
