Best TV OS to integrate with Home Assistant?

Although this is an old thread, the question is evergreen.
LG has been the least troublesome and most direct integration with HA.
And it helps to have the TV on a wired connection, so a wake-on-LAN magic packet can be transmitted to it.

LG takes it hands down

LG is flat out amazing. I use the on-screen notifications for various things, and with the Plex Meets Home Assistant I have a script setup so once you chose a movie from the tablet, I have on the wall, then the movie starts playing automatically.

So many cool things that LG TVs can do with HA.
