Thanks for your question. Yes I have an extension lead on my USB.
Please note that I am now back on deCONZ because all of my devices dropped out and needed to be re-paired on ZHA. A few devices refused to pair at all (two ikea 2 button remotes and two smartthings multisensors). Maybe some of these things are related to the coordinator?
Similar problems with Deconz, though I’m still hanging on for now. I’ve around 100 Zigbee devices, with all lights, light wall switches, wireless steering devices and IKEA motion sensors connected to a Raspbee with Deconz software - with all other devices (climate, water leak, motion sensors & misc), connected to a Sonoff Zigbee Bridge running Tasmota.
The Raspbee/Deconz combination is so unstable, with the raspbee showing up as disconnected almost daily at the moment. I’ve kept the software updated, I reboot out of desperation (there is no way to reload/reattach the device without it). It’s running on a dedicated RPi 3B away from other 2.4GHz devices and RF emitters.
Before the Raspbee I used zigbee2mqtt with a CC2531 and that was forever disconnecting from the OS. In the end, despite getting 2 of the CC2531 devices it was too bad and had to move to the raspbee which was more reliable. Not now though. Yesterday I installed the latest deconz beta, but already crashes today. Even a reboot does not guarantee connection with the OS.
This is the current view, but I’ve no confidence it will stay connected for long.
I’m now looking (again) for a very reliable Zigbee controller than can handle <150 devices and works with HA.
