Beta 0.80.0b1 frustrates custom weather card?

with the exact same configuration, my custom weather card shows just fine on Hassos 0.80.0b0 beta:

and renders an empty card on Hassio 0.80.0b1 beta:

both regular HA not yet Lovelace.

icons in the single sensor prove that those are seen correctly. What could be off in this update, or custom card that they are not compatible all of a sudden?

not sure it was the beta, but maybe the card, I suddenly remembered this:

Custom UI: Weather state card

The solution is here. You need to find this in custom-weather-card.html: getUnit(unit) { return this.hass.config.core.unit_system[unit] || ''; }, and replace it to this: getUnit(unit) { return this.hass.config.unit_system[unit] || ''; },

the custom weather-card needed this little but important change of code. Problem solved! Changed topic title accordingly
