Where do you get this “raw salinity” value?
To me it looks like a Home Assistant template sensor, as Alessandro mentioned just replace the names mentioned.
Also wondering where the raw salinity originates from, ‘salt’ maybe?
Hi all,
I’m trying to develop an Integration to read from the Blue Connect Go via BLE without the need to set-up an ESPHome device. I’m close to a first version, thanks to the great work people have done here as well as @jdeath who put together a very similar integration for the Yinmik BLE-YC01.
However, as I’m trying to test things I ran into a strange situation where, after doing a few measurements, the device disappears from BLE for a long time, appearing to be totally dead.
I think it happens after I run a reading with the official Blue Riiot app.
I’m curious, has anyone ever experience something like this with the Blue Connect Go?
Maybe it’s a battery issue? From my test readings it looks like it’s at 27% (the last byte of the 12 byte data payload is a binary 27), which is strange given that I barely used the device for a month or so.
However, I can’t be sure this is an issue since it looks like I’m too dumb to find the battery percentage reading on the official app.
I’d appreciate any hints from other users of this device as testing in this last stretch of the integration is becoming quite tedious having to wait hours between tests.
Thanks a lot!
Julian
