Bluetooth stops tracking in the middle of the night

Hi,
I’m running 94.4 and hassio 2.12

My issue is with the bluetooth, all day it tracks us 100% leaving and coming home, yet at night around 1am to 3am it stops working, which then shows us as not at home. The log shows no error and when I restart HA doesn’t load and I have to physically reboot my Pi

Haa anyone else come across this, or may know of a cause?

Hi,

I’m running hassio and 0.103 on RPi 3B+, same here. Configured BT two days ago and on now two consequtive nights 3:09AM and 3:15AM BT just stopped. At least hassio doesn’t show any errors. Can’t get to 22222 of the hassio yet (another hassio issue), so can’t check any logs there yet.

I never did find a solution to my problem. So I brought a rpi zero and loaded monitor.

It’s never skipped a beat, best thing I ever did

Possibly this: https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/issues/30147

Thanks! Very possibly, I’ll follow that development.

No worries. Please try the steps I posted in the link. Unfortunately it’s only a temporary fix.

Apparently something strange there still

[bluetooth]# power on
Failed to set power on: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply
[bluetooth]# power off
Failed to set power off: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply
[bluetooth]# agent on
Agent is already registered
[bluetooth]# scan on
[bluetooth]#

Google helped surprisingly little, so possibly not too usual problem.

Same here, is anyone working on this?

It’s being investigated.
