Still a problem with 0.115.4
Can’t write to /tmp (the docker /tmp)
I don’t want to write things to the disk, I want to keep snapshots in RAM, 'cause I’mma send them over Telegram
I am having the same issue with “can’t write”
HA installed on Virtual Box on windows (may not be the best option but I am OK with it)
I have the latest version installed, I have access to supervisor and tried almost anything.
Simply not working.
I put it in /media/tmp/filename.jpg - seems like I couldn’t write the home directory so the tmp folder wasn’t able to be made so I put it in an existing folder

Oh my zosh, thank you so much @nonbinarymaker , i’ve been running in circle for 30 minutes 
I tried creating and chmod’ing various places, camera errored on all, but media works!
Plus, by putitng in /media we can see it in the UI Media Browser :success:
