Can an additional Smart Indoor Module work by itself, with HA?

I’d like to buy a Netatmo Smart Indoor Module, but I don’t care about their application, I intend to only use it with HA.

In their website, I noticed they have a cheaper additional module, besides the standard one.

Does anyone know if this module can be used as-is directly with HA, without requiring their “main” station?

Hey! Netatmo modules use 868 MHz and can to my knowledge not be added to HA directly. Depending on what you want to measure, check out my take on CO2/Temp/Humidity/Pressure measuring :wink: CO2 Measure & Display - feedback wanted!

Thanks, I expected something of the sort, otherwise I believe I would have read about this “hack” somewhere.

I guess I’ll end up trying a low-cost, non-HA-compatible sensor for now, and if it is useful in the long run, I’ll end up trying something else.
