Requesting the package git-lfs ( https://github.com/git-lfs/git-lfs ) be added to base system to allow db files to by uploaded to git repository. Files > 100Mb in size can’t be uploaded to git. Thanks.

If you want to do fancy stuff on the OS side, I’d recommend you use the supervised HA install method, where you have full control over the OS. HassOS is basically built so that it’s off-limit.

Why on earth do you want to upload your db to git?

git-lfs is an extension to git that allows you to have versioned large binary files. Basically the equivalent of any versioned cloud storage.

check this post, yes you can  [image] Use apt-get commands Home Assistant OS In fact you can install packages in home assistant OS. The package manager uses the command apk add xxxx First create bash script and make executable and put it in a shell command…

Can apk package git-lfs be added to base system?
